 WRITING YOUR RECORD: JAN 6th - MARCH 30th, 2024

Whether you've written fifty songs or just one, the challenge of creating a cohesive body of work will push you to refine your sound, explore your creative depths, and dive into the themes and stories that resonate most deeply with you. 

The 12-week timeframe will invite you to laser-focus your musical energy, eliminate distractions, and access the deepest wells of creativity within you.  Spoiler alert: You will have to prioritize your music over other earthly delights for these 12 weeks. 

What you'll gain: 

Clear Vision: By narrowing your focus to create a single body of work, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your unique sound and artistic identity, allowing you to create a cohesive and impactful record.

Artistic Exploration: Uncover the stories from your life worth telling and push your creative boundaries by writing from unconventional perspectives. 

Guidance: Receive personalized feedback and mentorship from me. I will act as your musical cheerleader / creative mirror / song psychic. I will help you overcome creative hurdles and polish your record until you walk away thinking, "holy shit! I can't believe I did this."

Community: This is the most loving, supportive corner of the internet. Having the intimacy and accountability of a small group (18 writers) will help you finish songs faster and have more a-ha moments with your work because we'll collectively encourage experimentation and creative bravery, reflect back what's working, offer new possibilities, and hold each other's budding songs with tender care.

The course costs $1300 with optional payment plans at checkout. 

Class is limited to 18 writers. 

You’ll have lifetime access to the recordings of this workshop and the Discord class community.  (If you cannot attend the Saturday classes live, you are still welcome to participate and watch at your own pace.)  

Beginning SATURDAY, JANUARY 6th, we will meet 12 Saturdays in a row 10am PST / 1pm EST for a 90 minute class. 

Optional Study Halls will meet twice a week. We will choose the times based on collective scheduling requests.
